With two successive days on the weekend and two during the week, Messe Frankfurt has created the best ordering conditions for the wholesale and retail trades at the International Trade Fair for the Perfumery, Drug Store, Cosmetics and Hairdressing Trade. 

"With Beautyworld 2009, we will offer a customised platform exactly in line with the needs of our exhibitors and visitors. And, besides the additional day, the changes made also include reinforcement for the existing product portfolio and the introduction of new product groups", says Eva Olbrich, Director of Beautyworld, explaining the event concept.

"With the new Trend Forum, the fair will also exercise a power of attraction on beauticians. At the Forum, they will find products and lectures on the subjects of Wellness & Spa, Nature & Care and Anti-Aging. On stage, experts from the sector will demonstrate best-practice examples and give tips and ideas for beauty salons."

NEW in 2009:

  • Trend Forum
    Exhibitors from the Nature&Care, Wellness&Spa and Anti-Aging sectors are being brought together in a high-grade setting with a lecture area and beauty cabins for natural-cosmetic treatments, aroma therapy and massages.
  • Cabin & Treatment
    This new product segment will focus on cosmetic treatments and cubicle furnishings.
  • Nails & Design
    covers the subject of fingernail design, modelling and nail care.
  • Beautyworld Direct
    gives visitors the chance to purchase cosmetic products in a separate exhibition hall.

To be held parallel: Hair and Beauty
Hair and Beauty will take place on Sunday, 1 February, and Monday, 2 February. On these two days, the trade fair for the hair-cosmetic industry and hairdressing trade will provide even greater value for Beautyworld visitors with numerous international exhibitors and brands together with a comprehensive programme of shows and workshops.

As usual the two leading world fairs Paperworld and Christmasworld will take place parallel to Beautyworld at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre.
